Teikyo University supports highly motivated young researchers with the aim of promoting further vitalization of research activities and contributing to the development of the university.
Teikyo University Research Encouragement Grant Implementation Guidelines
1. Purpose
By subsidizing the research activities of young researchers who are conducting excellent research at Teikyo University (hereinafter referred to as "the University"), we hope to promote further activation of the research activities of the University and contribute to the development of the University. 2. Qualifications
Applicants must be young researchers at our university who meet all of the following requirements (1) to (6).
Be a full-time faculty member.
Must be under 45 years old at the time of application for this project.
The applicant must have applied for, but been unsuccessful in, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (C), Young Scientists' Research, or Challenging Research (Exploratory) program for the relevant fiscal year, and received an A rating in the review process.
Those who plan to apply for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Scientific Research Grant Program for the next fiscal year as part of the Basic Research (C), Young Researchers, or Challenging Research (Exploratory) category.
Those who have not been selected as a principal investigator in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research in the relevant fiscal year (including continuing grants).
Those who have not been selected as principal investigators for other open research grants within the university.
3. Subsidized expenses
Expenses required to carry out research projects and expenses required to compile research results. However, it cannot be applied to the following expenses.
Expenses related to facilities such as buildings
Expenses for purchasing equipment that should normally be provided at a research institution, such as desks, chairs, and copiers
Other expenses not directly related to the research subject
4. Grant amount
The total amount of the subsidy shall be within the budget, and the upper limit shall be 500,000 yen per case.
5. Grant period
Single year of the year.
6. How to apply
The applicant fills out the "Teikyo University Research Encouragement Grant Application Form", attaches a notification (copy) of the results of the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research, and submits it to the budget management department of the campus to which he belongs.
7. Selection method
Each campus will collect the information and apply to Chairman of Advanced Comprehensive Research Organization.
The successful candidate must apply as the principal researcher for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Science Research Grant Program for the following fiscal year, and report the results of their selection in the "Teikyo University Research Encouragement Grant Performance Report."
Adopters must submit the "Teikyo University Research Encouragement Grant Performance Report" within one month after the end of the research period.
If the obligation after adoption is not fulfilled, we may ask you to return the amount equivalent to the expenses used.
